All the trains cancelled during nationwide rail strike

The final secretary of the RMT union, Mick Lynch, has vowed “a sustained marketing campaign of business motion which is able to shut down the railway system”. His members working for Community Rail and 13 prepare operators are to strike on 21, 23 and 25 June, with results on the intervening days and 26 June.

The purpose to “shut down the railway system” in a dispute over jobs, phrases and pay has not materialised, with Community Rail and prepare corporations planning to run trains on about half the rail community in Nice Britain, at the least between 7.30am and 6.30pm.

However there are huge areas of England, Wales and Scotland that may see no passenger trains.

Listed below are all of the companies cancelled on strike days.

West and southwest England

Cornwall and Dorset are closed to trains.

Nothing will run west of Plymouth on the road to Penzance, nor on its branches. The traces from Exeter to Okehampton and Barnstaple will even be closed.

The hyperlink from London Waterloo to Exeter will shut west of Basingstoke, and no trains will run west of Southampton to the New Forest, Bournemouth and Weymouth.

Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa, in addition to Hereford and the Malverns, will see no rail companies.

The Night time Riviera sleeper prepare won’t run.

Southeast England

Guildford and Portsmouth will probably be disconnected from one another and from London Waterloo. The road that stretches alongside the South Coast from Southampton through Brighton and Eastbourne to Ashford will shut.

Crawley, Horsham, Arundel, Chichester, Worthing, Tonbridge, Hastings, Ramsgate and Margate are among the many many stations with no trains.

East Anglia
