Bali prison inmate ordered crystal meth hidden in milk via bike taxi app

An inmate on the Kerobokan Correctional Establishment thought it might be a good suggestion to order crystal meth and have it delivered through a bike taxi app final weekend. The medicine had been positioned inside a powdered chocolate milk field in an try to idiot jail officers.

The scheme failed after authorities discovered the crystal meth bundle anyway on Friday afternoon. The inmate was recognized by the preliminary KHS, whereas the bike taxi driver was often known as ODMM. 

“After [the officers] examined it rigorously, contained in the powdered milk field there have been packages suspected [to contain] methamphetamine,” Kerobokan Jail Head Fikri Jaya Soembing stated in a written assertion.

The Kerobokan jail officers instantly alerted the Bali Province Narcotics Company (BNN). The convict could face new fees associated to drug trafficking, whereas the motive force was taken in for questioning.

Bali BNN head Gde Sugianyar Dwi Putra stated yesterday that the powdered milk field contained three packages of crystal meth, weighing 7.99 grams. The driving force, who has been launched, was questioned as a witness as he confessed that he didn’t know that he was delivering medicine.

Police didn’t disclose why KHS was jailed within the first place. Based on the 2009 Indonesian Anti-Medicine Act, he could face between 6 and 20 extra years in jail if discovered responsible for buying the medicine.
