East Bali hit by earthquake

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 rocked the east a part of Bali at 4.18 am on Saturday morning.
The epicenter of the earthquake was on land 8 km inland within the northwest of Karangasem, at a depth of 10 km.
Quoted from BMKG’s Twitter, the earthquake was felt in Karangasem, Denpasar and North Lombok IV MMI, East Lombok, Central Lombok, West Lombok, Mataram III MMI.
Head of the BMKG Earthquake and Tsunami Mitigation Division, Daryono, stated that there was harm to buildings in Pempatan Village, Rendang District, Karangasem Regency. No casualties have been reported.
There was a second quake of three.8 roughly 5 minutes later at 4.22 am.
“In relation to the supply of the M4.8 earthquake, which was harmful in some areas this morning, it seems that it was attributable to a neighborhood energetic fault/fault exercise, not resulting from Flores Again Aec Thrusting,” he stated.
Daryono stated, whereas the situation of the epicenter is within the Agung-Batur volcanic advanced, there might be a reference to magma migration that triggered the native fault exercise.
