Eurostar ‘chaos’ reported at St Pancras as check-in hit by queues due to ‘technical issue’

Indignant Eurostar passengers have taken to social media since this morning after encountering queues for check-in that stretched exterior London’s St Pancras station.

One Twitter person known as it an “absolute shambles” and “stunning mismanagement”, whereas one other estimated that there was “greater than 500m of queue.”

Ian Freeman posted an image of heavy queues, saying: “Complete shambles at #stpancras #eurostar @EurostarUK.

A Eurostar spokesperson stated it was as a consequence of a “technical situation” which had delayed one service earlier this morning.

The spokesperson stated: “There was a technical fault with certainly one of our units earlier, which put it out of service. As such, sadly, that exact service left London over an hour late.
