Fisherman tried for trafficking attempt of 9 endangered green sea turtles

A 57-year-old fisherman in Jembrana might spend as much as 5 months behind bars for allegedly poaching 9 endangered inexperienced sea turtles and making an attempt to promote them.

The person, recognized as S, is a resident of Pengambengan Village. He was charged with endangering protected wildlife below Indonesia’s Surroundings Safety Act.
