Kuta hotel room, thought to be online gambling HQ, deserted ahead of police raid
Police got here up empty once they raided a lodge room in Kuta suspected to be the operational hub of an internet playing ring on Saturday.
The raid passed off at 8pm on Saturday at a lodge on Kartika Plaza Highway.
Denpasar Police Chief Bambang Yugo Pamungkas, who led the raid, stated that the perpetrators had fled, and officers as a substitute discovered deserted units within the room, together with 4 computer systems, seven wi-fi routers and 4 smartphones, together with SIM playing cards.
It’s presumed that plans of the raid had leaked, giving the perpetrators time to flee the Kuta lodge.
“From the proof we have now gathered, this lodge room was used as an internet playing website,” Bambang defined.

Police are questioning lodge administration and employees as they search extra results in seize the playing ring. The units discovered within the abandoned room have been confiscated as proof.
Playing is against the law in Indonesia.
